Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 amโ€“8:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (973) 506-9066. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 566 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded taiwanese restaurants in East Hanover.

East Hanover is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and East Hanover follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Black fungus appetizer and the fried peashoots were fine. And generally the fried chicken and pork were ok too. Anything else with dough in it wasโ€ฆ very grainy? Itโ€™s hard for me to describe the texture but itโ€™s not fluffy and generally pretty dense so I did not enjoy those dishes.

Great spot for Taiwanese food. Place is unassuming but the food is great and the service is fast. Bring cash to avoid credit card fees. Menu does not have photos so take a moment to read through. Bring friends so you can order different things to try the menu. The menu is huge

Other than the fish and the dessert, everything else wasnโ€™t very tasty. The dry noodle is supposed to be their signature, but very tasteless. The pop chicken was a bit too salty but quite crispy. The soup dumpling didnโ€™t have soup in it and the wrap was broken for every single one. There are not many Chinese restaurants around here, was hoping to have some tasty Chinese food, but wasnโ€™t very satisfied unfortunately.

My go-to place for comfort food. PROS: - Many small dishes I can order several different every time. - The Chinese style fried pork chop rice (ๆŽ’้ชจ้ฆ…้ฅผ) and Pan fried beef pan (็‰›่‚‰้ฆ…้ฅผ) are all time best and quality are consist for years. - For lunch, most of time no waiting if get there before 12:30 CONS: - Bean curd with thousand year egg (็šฎ่›‹่ฑ†่…) was disappointing. Supposed to use soft tofu but they might use the firm tofu (not 100% sure) the taste was tough and dry. Also the egg was not sliced, chef expected we helped ourself with table knife ;( - 3% fee for credit card or you have to pay by cash, or Zelle/Venmo them.

A solid Taiwanese shop that has some comfort food like congee, salt and pepper chicken, bubble tea and noodle soup. Cash only, no more Venmo after Sep 1. And they have a reasonably good selection of other small dishes that you can try, the spicy pig ears are sliced thin and deliciously spicy. The restaurant is clean and the service is okay. The beef noodle soup (clear broth) is excellent and better fresh rather than taken to go. Lost my order called in but found it eventually. Smaller portions by half while more expensive on the spicy pig ear appetizer for $7 instead of $5 pre pandemic. The dessert - the homemade grass jelly was just so-so. Da Bing Niu Ru was ok - needed more bean paste sauce. The fried chicken with rice was ok, but the pork chop version is better. Stopped by again in April 2026 - the pig ears still awesome, and the pao cai (fermented veggies) is more sweet and sour (preserved in white vinegar). I like the Szechuan version better than this one. Pork chops needed a bit more crisp, but the hand pulled noodles were great in beef soup. Tried a few more things - the cabbage in garlic - meh, skip. The cucumbers in a szechuan sauce were good. Kau fu was too sweet, an
